
The SturNet project, dedicated to the conservation of sturgeon species in the Black Sea region, was presented at the Agrotica 2026 exhibition in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Agrotica is one of the most significant agricultural exhibitions in Europe and serves as an important platform for the exchange of knowledge among scientists, institutions and industry representatives.
During the event, representatives of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) presented the project’s objectives and activities, highlighting the scientific research aimed at improving the monitoring and conservation of sturgeon populations.
Participation in international events such as Agrotica helps raise public awareness of biodiversity conservation and strengthens cooperation among the various stakeholders working towards the sustainable management of ecosystems.
